Luci Live for Android version also updated to 1.5

New version 1.5 , Luci Live for Android now receives following extra features:

  • Added bitrates from 12 kbps to 20 kbps for AAC-HE and 18 kbps for AAC-HEV2
  • Support for sending multiple audio frames in 1 RTP packet, to further decrease gross bitrate. Use the phonebook to enable this advanced setting on Android.
  • Support for signalling QOS or diffserve. Use the phonebook to enable this advanced setting.
  • Improved compatibility with Mayah codecs when using AAC-HE and N/ACIP.

Bugs solved:

  • Upload function now works again on all devices.
  • Sometimes the effective jitter-buffer was lower than actually set.
  • Limited bitrates for MP2 to valid ones for each sample-rate.

Luci Live for Android updated to 1.4.1

New features added:

  • Automatic call-forwarding when you go live. You can let Luci prepare a phone-call to a predefined number before you go Live. This number can be any number, so in contrast to iOS this will also work for *21 numbers.
  • notifications are now centered on screen.
  • Graphic improvements.

Bugs solved:

  • Pressing the about icon when recording or playing messed things up.
  • Sometimes, after releasing a call, leaving the Antenna On and then after picking up a call, there was no return stream.

Luci Live for Android receives major update

Here is another major free feature update to V 1.3:

  • Added the Audio editor feature.
  • Added the upload via FTP feature, also as Broadcast Wave File.
  • Audio latency is improved a little bit.
  • Added audio input model of Galaxy S3 for improved audio quality on that phone.
  • Landscape mode supported on main screen.
  • Full height of the display is now used on the main screen.
  • Now it’s not possible to accidentally quit the app while you’re streaming.
  • Switching on the antenna is now faster in some cases.
  • Minor bug fixes.

Luci Live, small update for N/ACIP users

For MAC, PC and Andorid there’s a small update 1.2.1 available for users of the N/ACIP protocol:

  • Some enhancements for N/ACIP, including faster disconnect and connect with a stun-server defined.
  • 1 important bug solved which was introduced in 1.2: with N/ACIP sometimes you had a lot of drop-outs in the signal.

 

Luci Live for Windows, MAC and Android updated to 1.2

3 Platforms receive an update. Here is what happened, first what’s general across all platforms:

  • You can set a default folder for recorded files. Configure with Options.
  • Choosing a new file for recording now only allows you to type a name, the folder is set with the default recording folder option.
  • With N/ACIP protocol (SIP) you can now be called by the studio. Press the antenna only and Luci will wait for an incoming call. Pick up by pressing the Mic button.
  • With N/ACIP protocol you can now also define if Luci will will use a different encoder then what the caller requests.
  • Improved error-reporting with Shoutcast.

Android specific updates:

  • Many visual improvements for high-resolution displays.
  • Audio files are now recorded and played from user-definable folder, by default sdcard/Luci is used. Configure with Options.
  • record 16-bit files instead of 24-bit, so less storage space is used.
  • When you are called with N/ACIP protocol, notifications and ringtone will appear.
  • tablets with only Wifi can now be used also.
    !! Important, this update will install itself seperately from the last version. It will be called “Luci Live” so, WITH the space. Use your activation-code to activate this new version, you can find this in LuciLive in the about screen. Future version will just replace the old version entirely and keep old settings.
