The plugin for the EBU N/ACIP standard is now available. The plugin itself is still under development but is already contained in the new version download. If you wish to test the plugin, please send us an email, so we can activate the plugin for your licenses you wish to test it with. Or you  can use the 30 day trial, this will unlock Live2, AAC and N/ACIP also for 30 days, details on the right.
In this plugin we already support SIP and codecs G711, G722 and MP2.

Some other enhancements in this version are:

• In Live2 Setup the menu’s are now compatible with Windows Mobile 6.5.
• Audio files with non-standard content didn’t play, they now do.

Small bug solved:

• When using ASIO, Live2 would occasionally freeze after a certain sequence of events: When connected, you pressed Mic off and then immediately Antenna off.

As the extra keyboard shortcuts increases the danger of accidental key-presses, we now enabled the button-guard which was in the PDA version for PC also. Enable this in Setup/Options2.
If you are online and press a key for Mic, Connect or Choose Station, Luci will ask for confirmation: confirm by pressing the Enter key. A mouse-click will however not ask for confirmation, just like before.

Also, in Setup, the term “Server” is changed into “Station” where appropriate.

The window for choosing a station has been revamped, you can now:

• See the date and time of when you last used a station.
• Sort according to name or last used date/time.
• Update the list through the web. The user can update the list with a station-list you can store on any webserver. Format (CSV) is the same as import station-list in Live2Setup. To enter a URL go to Live2Setup “Server2” page. Only when a URL is entered the user will see a button called “Update” in the “Choose Station” window. The imported stations are appended to the local list from Live2Setup and cached locally. The list is always updated manually, no automatic update takes place.
• On PC, you can resize the window for choosing a station.

And, some extra keyboard shortcuts where made:

S = Choose Station
C = Connect
Space-bar= Mic
P = Play

• Automatic InputEQ switching is now also available on I-Mate 9502

Bug solved:

• When you used an InputEQ with an empty name, Luci Live2 would crash upon starting a transmission.

For completeness in using proxy-servers: Luci V1.4.2 will now auto-connect correctly when a proxy-server is used.

Some new features:

• If you use a proxy-server, you can register via this server now. Choose “Use Proxy” in the Live2 Setup Register page.
• Luci will now detect on selected devices like Samsung Omnia and HTC devices, if a headset is plugged in and chooses the correct InputEQ automatically. For this you must have 2 EQ-profiles defined ending with _int and _ext . If you use the presets from our webpage this will already be the case.

Forgot to update the links on the right, anyone who has downloaded 1.3R24 however will still have downloaded the latest version 1.4 .

Newest version now supports ASIO-drivers, which allows Luci to decrease the latency even more.

Other new features added:

• On PDA with VGA screen, drawing the screen is now faster in some cases.

Bugs solved:

• 256 kpbs on all AAC variations now work ok.
• Status window was not removed when deselected in the menu.

• On the PC version a status-window can be shown. This window shows some information about which codecs are being used and are incoming and the number of packets-errors and drops. It is advised to use this only in server-mode, so the normal user doesn’t have too much information on the screen.
• You can now load a clip-list from Luci Edit, so you can play multiple files during a live transmission. The clips will be played one after the other, after playing each clip it will stop and automatically increment to the next clip in the cliplist. All non-destructive cuts that have been made are also played. Be aware that this can only be used for wave-files of course.
